We want to take the time to say THANK YOU to all of the Volunteers, Donors and friends who dropped by for Volunteer Appreciation Day at Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley this past weekend! We had a great time and if you missed it... GET READY FOR NEXT YEAR!

Special THANKS goes out to DJ Dezzy, who kept the tunes playing, to DOG GONE DELICIOUS Hot Dog Stand (Delicious for Real), who made sure everyone got something good to eat and to National Charity League who volunteered with our staff on duty to make sure everything went smoothly! YOU LADIES ROCK!

WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME... new volunteers and customers in our ReStore! Finally, "THANK YOU" to all the staff who worked on Saturday! It could have not been done without your help!

OH... and we can't leave without saying, Congratulations to George Prude and Jesse Dalizu, who were the winners of our giveaways!! Well deserved gentlemen!

A playhouse with a story! 🏠✨

North Alabama Homebuilding Academy and Girls Incorporated of Huntsville partnered on this amazing project empowered young women to learn construction skills and put them into practice! They donated the completed playhouse to Habitat so that we could pass it along to a deserving family.

We recently delivered the playhouse to one of our home repair clients, Barbara, whose home we outfitted with a new HVAC system, a water heater replacement, and some drywall repairs. Barbara was thrilled to receive the playhouse for her 6-year-old grandson, just in time to celebrate his birthday. It has found a great home with them!
