Madison County 4-H prepares the youth of today to become the leaders of tomorrow.

To provide educational experiences that will stimulate young people to gain knowledge, develop life skills and form positive attitudes to prepare them to become responsible adults. "I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living for my club, my community, my country and my world."

This Thankful Thursday of National 4-H week, we are super thankful to have such awesome volunteers and 4-H’ers! Our clubs in Madison County depend on volunteers and experts like those that lead our Rabbit Club, which started back for the year tonight!

Thank you SO MUCH to all of our amazing volunteers who help bring 4-H to as many kids as we are able in this big, beautiful county!

⚔🎲 Adventure awaits those who dare to join... 4-H Tabletop Gaming Club! 🔮🧙‍♂️
In this club, you will learn how to play and run tabletop roleplay games (think Dungeons and Dragons). Do you like writing, acting, sci-fi or fantasy? Want to make friends and have fun playing games? This is the club for YOU!
This club is open to youth ages 9-18
Join us for the first meeting on Thursday October 15th from 5:30-7:30 at the Madison County Extension Office.

Interested in learning new skills, developing creativity, or fining a new hobby? Join 4-H Arts & Crafts Club! Monthly meetings with fun activities, good music and atmosphere, and snacks. Activities will be lead by both our county agent AND local artists!
Open to youth ages 5-18, with some activities limited to youth 9-18. In those cases, there will be alternative crafts for Cloverbuds.
Our first meeting will be on basic hand-sewing and cross-stitching. 🪡
Join us on Tuesday, October 13th from 5:30-7:30 PM at the Madison County Extension Office!

Another awesome day with the ESOL program at Whitesburg Middle School! We learned about and drew food webs, learned how energy moves through an environment, and about photosynthesis and cells!!

4-H Youth Council has officially begun for the 26-27 club year!
☕️Our kick-off this year was Clover Cafe- a coffee and tea counter with cozy fall vibes in the office for our council to enjoy and get to know each other!
We did icebreakers, learned about the projects, committees and opportunities available through our county and Youth Council, and added maybe a little too much caramel to some decaf lattes!! 😅
🍀I am so excited to see these awesome 4-Hers grow to become leaders this year!! See you all in October!🎃

Our 4-H Homeschool Club had their first meeting of the 2026-2027 4-H Club year on Thursday. The 4-H Homeschool Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 10 AM. The first day of Sand Mountain & Beyond was a huge success!!! Our Madison County girls and everyone else had an awesome time learning about all of the amazing opportunities for careers in the Agriculture industry that exist in our region. Can’t wait for the field trip! 🍀

Thank you to Marshall County, Alabama 4-H for hosting us, and to Guntersville Marine, High Rock Farm, K Supply, Rock Springs Community Center, and ACE Aeronautics for the tours and insight into what you do!!
