We had a blast talking about the work and mission of the Library Foundation, the tremendous impact of the HMCPL, and the upcoming Great Big Book Festival on November 7! We’re excited to bring this new event to our community and hope to see you there!

A big thank you to Brenda Martin, host of Inside Huntsville, at the City of Huntsville, Alabama - Government for welcoming us to the show!

Carolyn Reagle, Adult Programming Librarian at the Madison Public Library and Chair of the Great Big Book Festival Committee, and Brooke Rawlins, Development Director of the Huntsville-Madison County Library Foundation and Co-Chair, had a wonderful time discussing the upcoming Great Big Book Festival and all the exciting things happening at the Huntsville-Madison County Public Library!

We are honored to welcome bestselling author Sharon Cameron to the Madison Public Library on October 19 at 6:30 p.m.

Sharon's new novel, UP FROM THE ASHES, tells the remarkable true story of Chaim Engel and Selma Wijnberg, two Jewish prisoners at Sobibor who fell in love, survived the camp’s 1943 uprising and escape, and built a life together.

The Library Foundation’s 40th annual Vive le Livre was a success, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make it possible. Today was a great day at the Huntsville Madison County Public Library! Rep. Marilyn Lands stopped by to present a generous $20,000 gift supporting the Downtown Huntsville Public Library, Madison Public Library, and Triana Public Library.
