What an incredible week of volunteerism at Eighth Street Community! ❤️

We are so grateful for the many individuals and groups who dedicated their time, energy, and hearts to our residents this week.

The Handsfree Work Camp team traveled from near and far to serve alongside us, helping with everything from beautifying our grounds and organizing resident rooms to sharing meals, playing games, and creating meaningful connections. Their impact was felt throughout our community.

We were also thrilled to welcome the Asbury Youth group, who helped refresh the patio at our ladies' home and brought everyone together for an energetic and fun-filled game of volleyball. Their enthusiasm and servant hearts made for a wonderful day.

A special thank you goes to Ms. Marilynn, who faithfully volunteers each week by taking our resident, Will, to art classes at the Inside Out Studio at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. Her ongoing commitment and encouragement mean so much to our residents and staff.

To each volunteer who spent time with us this week—thank you for making a difference. Your kindness, generosity, and willingness to serve help make Eighth Street Community a place where everyone feels valued, supported, and loved. 💙

What a party "Whiskey and Wine" has become!

This year, we've added a limited VIP Package! In addition to a delicious meal, wine and spirit tastings provided by the Church Street Wine Family, live music on the rooftop, and fellowship with an incredible group of people, VIPs gain access to an exclusive after-party at The Library at Purveyor, with transportation included. Tables are already filling up!

This Memorial Day, we are grateful for the courage, service, and sacrifice of our fallen heroes. As we gather with family, friends, and community, we pause to reflect on those who gave everything for our country.
