Will a seat belt save an egg from a crash? Our High School Autism students in Mrs. Margot's class found out!

Using ramps, toy cars, and tape "seat belts," their class ran a real scientific experiment—hypothesis, test, and data included. Turns out, buckling up isn't just for the yolks.

We're celebrating 20 YEARS of unlocking potential!

The energy at Charter School is unstoppable! Our friends—old and new—are settling in and finding their groove as the new school year unfolds. From Art Therapy to Physical Therapy, we're already celebrating progress in all eight of our classrooms. Every step, every smile, every small win—we see it, and we celebrate it. Here's to an exciting Week 2!

Our hallways and classrooms are full of excitement again, which means it's time for YOU to vote in our Door Decorating Contest! Our Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Nursing Team, and even some of our Therapy Team have joined in to make Pattison's bright, joyful, and unmistakably theirs this year. Our community is quick to give, and we can never say thank you enough! Across all four of our programs, needs are specific—right size, right fit, right supply—so a few items are worth checking with us on first. Happy first day of school to our 2026-2027 Pattison's Academy students, families, and staff! Our 16th first day as a charter school, our 20th year as a nonprofit—and we can't help but take a moment to be thankful. Thankful for those who came before us and built an organization for an underserved population in the Lowcountry, thankful for the parents who trust us with the most important people in their lives, and thankful for the Lowcountry community that supports all of it. Here's to a great first day and many more to come!

We can't tell who was most excited for Meet the Teacher—parents, therapy, nursing, admin, teacher assistants, teachers, or the students themselves! The laughter and conversations echoing through the halls this afternoon said it all. We cannot wait for our 2026-2027 Charter School Year to start back up on Tuesday!

Every student at Pattison's Academy learns and grows in their own unique way, which means our classrooms need all kinds of different supplies to meet each child's needs. Our teachers work so hard to make that happen every single day, and we wanted to make it a little easier for our community to help.
