A great business idea is just the beginning. Building a sustainable business takes the right tools, knowledge and support.

That’s where Palmetto Goodwill’s Microenterprise Accelerator Program (MAP) comes in.

Whether you’re starting with an idea or already running a business, MAP provides a 12-week small business development course covering topics like budgeting and credit, marketing and pricing, cash flow and bookkeeping, financing, legal structure, intellectual property and insurance.

Participants also receive ongoing access to resources, mentorship and business development assistance, all at no cost to program participants.

Building stronger communities starts with creating spaces where people can connect, grow and thrive.
Palmetto Goodwill and Family Engagement Inc. recently celebrated the opening of Gandy’s community pool in Darlington, SC at the 1st Annual Gandy Pool Community Fun Day.
The Gandy Pool is expected to positively impact approximately 700 families and is the only community pool within a 60-mile radius, making it a unique resource for local youth and families.
Its impact goes beyond recreation. The pool provides a safe environment for young people, creates employment opportunities, promotes water safety and healthy lifestyles, and brings the community together.
We’re proud to be part of this milestone and grateful to everyone who helped make the event possible. A special thank-you to April Barr, Lead Success Coach for the P*e Dee Region, who attended this event as a representative of Palmetto Goodwill.
