Eggers, '97, was honored by his wife, Rebecca, son, Billy Eggers, '23, and U.S Army Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel Travis Taylor, '04, Executive Officer of The Citadel's Army ROTC program. The Citadel Alumni Association's Band of Gold program and CPT Eggers' ring importance is highlighted (at the 1:01:24 mark in the video) during this service, held at the sacred grounds of Arlington National Cemetery on Memorial Day.
