We recently sent out our mailer to join The Diamond Dogs Club for 2019. Below is a cut an paste of Coach Skole's letter. Below that you will find a link to access the membership form.
Dear Friends of Citadel Baseball,
The game of college baseball has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years. Fortunately The Diamond Dogs Club plays a
pivotal role in ensuring The Citadel Baseball Program has an opportunity to stay competitive. Since my arrival on campus,
funds from The Diamond Dogs Club have bolstered our program in numerous ways. From a great six passenger golf cart
so recruits and their families have a great experience while touring campus during a recruiting visit, the best in Adidas
practice and game apparel, to a nutrition program that works in concert with strength and conditioning so that our players
are built for a 56 game season and beyond. These are just three of over ten initiatives that The Diamond Dogs Club has
financially made possible for our program.
Renovating our coaches’ offices and lounge area in McAlister Field House, and improvements to our College Park Practice
Facility are other projects we eagerly anticipate completion in the near future.
Baseball at The Citadel is about tradition and consistency. Those two things, among others, help bond us across multiple
generations of Diamond Dogs. Our current cadet-athletes notice this. They also notice the sheer numbers of folks who
financially support our program through The Diamond Dogs Club. Every day we are working to create the future while we
honor the past.
Enclosed is a Diamond Dogs Club Membership Form. I humbly request you join and continue your support of our
program. Additionally, please take time to ask a former teammate, classmate, or friend to join with you!
On behalf of myself, our coaching staff, and our cadet-athletes, I want to thank you for your willingness to support the
program that we all love.
Go Dogs!
