Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month!

Our Lower School came together yesterday afternoon to celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Student emcees led the event, which included a special performance by Charleston-based Latin jazz musician Gino Castillo.

Thank you to our students, faculty, and special guests for making this celebration so meaningful!

During Middle and Upper School chapel this week, we welcomed The Very Rev. Jordan Trendelman, rector of our founding parish, Church of the Holy Communion, for a homily in recognition of Episcopal Schools Celebration Week.

Centered on Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God,” Father Trendelman encouraged us to find moments of stillness and silence amid the noise and busyness of daily life, trusting that the God who loves us will meet us there.
