Our mission is more Jewish teens, more meaningful Jewish experiences. Southeast Council consists of Augusta, Charleston, Columbia, Greenville and Savannah.

BBYO is the leading pluralistic teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. For more than 80 years, BBYO has provided exceptional identity enrichment and leadership development experiences for hundreds of thousands of Jewish teens. Many of BBYO’s 250,000 alumni, who are among the most prominent figures in business, politics, academia, the arts, and Je

wish communal life, claim it is BBYO to which they "owe it all." Dixie Council strives to be a place for all area Jewish Teens to create and engage in meaningful Jewish Experiences. WHAT’S UP SEC!!! 💛💛💛
It’s time for a summer check in ⚠️ We have had an INCREDIBLE summer full with so many fun BBYO summer opportunities 🌼! Today we are highlighting Noam and Amelia to hear about their summers 🌟🌟

Kallah has been such an amazing experience! I’ve been able to learn about all different aspects of what it means to be Jewish Religiously and a Jew in today’s world. During Israel 360 I heard from 8 speakers from all different backgrounds about their experiences with Israel, the war, Zionism, and the Israel-Palestine Conflict. I just got back from Philadelphia where we got to explore America’s History through a Jewish lens and see how Jewish Beliefs and ideals are incorporated into the constitution and our country’s history! Now we’re back at camp for the last few, and debatably most meaningful days.

ILTC was more than just an experience, it was a journey that shifted my whole perspective. I met amazing people from all over the world, learned so much about leadership, and saw the world in a whole new light. It taught me how powerful community can be, and how important it is to step outside your comfort zone. I’m so grateful to be able to have gone on this amazing experience and I’m excited to carry these lessons forward into improving Charleston BBYO!

Hey Eastern it’s Anna hailing from Charleston BBYO #5018 ⛵️🌊 (ur favorite chapter’s favorite chapter)! I’m SO hype to keep Eastern as the best region in this WHOLE DAMN ORDER!! 🔛🔝.

You guys already know we BLEED yellow💛⭐️🍌. We can’t be more hype to get this term started. BIG MOVES are coming. As always SEC ON TOP!!

Where do we even begin?? This term has been AMAZING to say the least. 🥹🫰We can’t be more grateful for everyone in this council for proving to us this term that SEC is indeed ON TOP. ☺️☺️From LTIs to International Convention, thank you for showing up and loving this council just as much as we do. Although this is our last post and our term ends tomorrow, 🥲 we can’t wait to watch SEC grow in the future. We’re passing the baton to THE GREATEST successor ever!! 🥳👏🙌 Anna, your determination and leadership in Charleston will take you so far on the council level. We can’t wait to see everything you’re going to accomplish and watch your passion for SEC continue to grow. (Side note from Will - 63 is gonna be the littest term ever).

WHAT IS UPPP SEC⁉️⁉️⁉️
We just got back from the most INCREDIBLE time at IC!!! We started off with a magicallll execs 🥹🥹where we learned SOOOO much and bonded so much with everyone!! Then we spent the next four days enjoying IC, helping at the BBG lounge ♥️, listening to QUAVO 🎶, and spending time with all of our amazinggggg friends! Stay tuned for more updates 😆😆

WOW SEC what a weekend!!!! Last week we had the most AMAZING time at Ldor vdor convention!!! We got to go to separates, become regionally inducted, attend a business meeting, participate in color war, and soooo so much more! 🥹🥹🥹

We just got back from the most AMAZING weekend in Fairfax, VA at August Execs! 👩‍⚖️🧑‍⚖️
We learned so many amazing things and can’t wait to bring them back to sec. 🫰

Hey SEC!!! Our chapters just finished up an amazing rush week, and we were not disappointed. Throughout the council, every community hosted a broad range of programs, bringing in many new and returning members. Our chapter leaders exceeded our expectations, and we could not be more proud!

Unfortunately, we are nearing the end of our term, and this will be one of our last times posting on this account. But fortunately, we are wrapping up the year with major successes and have had the greatest opportunity to lead this amazing council and witness such incredible milestones! 💛💛💛

WHAT IS UP SEC⁉️ Just got back from the most incredible 5 days in Denver, Colorado for IC 2025, and it’s safe to say SEC showed up, absolutely crushing our registration goal🤘 Feeling so many emotions as this term continues to wrap up, but we’re not done quite yet💛💛💛
