• Sale, possession, or discharge of fireworks is a violation of City Ordinance.
• Discharging fireworks near residential properties is very dangerous, an uncontrolled fire event could lead to loss of life and severe property damage.
• Residents should report emergency incidents, such as fireworks resulting in fire or emergency, by calling 911.
• Complaints regarding fireworks use or discharge that do not pose an immediate threat should be directed to the non-emergency number at:

It’s International Women’s Day. There are so many amazing women to honor, and we appreciate all women, but wanted to especially recognize this brave badass, Florida Highway Patrol Master Trooper Toni Schuck. She is a 26 year veteran of the FHP and so bravely put herself and her vehicle in the path of a drunk driver to protect innocent people. We thank and honor her and all women on this day.
