All good things must come to an end! Our beloved Charleston Youth Mission Director, Janie Bruce, is departing the YMCo team for an exciting new step on her journey. Janie will be serving as the Director of Adult Discipleship at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC and starting her studies at the SC5 School of Theology in the spring. 💙✨

We are excited for Janie’s new adventure, and we will miss her dearly at YMCo! Janie was the inaugural director of , and its success would not have been possible without her.

Friends, rest assured. If you’re headed to CYM this summer, we have plans in place for a summer director and plenty of support along the way. ✨

Week 8 brings our summer to a close!! We are so grateful to for their open minds and hearts this week.

As our summer in Charleston comes to an end, we want to remind you of these words from Teresa of Avila:

No hands, no feet on earth but yours,
Yours are the eyes with which he looks
Compassion on this world,
Yours are the feet with which he walks to do good, Yours are the hands, with which he blesses all the world."

Week 7!!! ✝️ It was so much fun working with and ! With the help of , , .marine.mammals and many more we were able to learn how to live and serve in the communities around us.
