Today we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. 🇺🇸

No words are enough. But we are grateful — for their courage, their sacrifice, and the freedom they defended.

To the families who carry this loss every day: we see you, and we honor them alongside you.

Today, we honor the mothers who held families together through impossible seasons, the mothers still fighting to find their way back to themselves, the grandmothers stepping in when life got hard, the women grieving children, and the children grieving mothers.

At Operation Rise Again, we know recovery doesn’t just impact one person. It impacts entire families. Behind so many stories of addiction, healing, relapse, survival, and hope… there is often a mother carrying more than anyone realizes.

To every mom walking through struggle, supporting someone in recovery, rebuilding relationships, or simply doing the best she can one day at a time: we see you.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at ORA. 💜

Recovery is possible. But for so many people in our community, the biggest obstacle isn’t motivation, it’s money. 💙

Operation Rise Again exists to make sure that financial barriers never stand between someone and the treatment they need. We work alongside individuals in the greater Charleston area who are ready to fight for their lives, and we fight alongside them.

Every dollar donated goes directly toward removing those obstacles and giving someone a real chance at a new beginning.

“I am now living a happy, joyous and free life.” — Paul, ORA recipient

If you believe everyone deserves a shot at recovery, please consider donating today. The link is in the comments. 👇

Thomas is a friend of Operation Rise Again, and right now, he’s facing cancer.

He’s about to start an intense treatment schedule that will keep him out of work for several weeks, adding real financial pressure during an already difficult time.

Over the past year, Thomas has worked hard on his recovery and has started giving back to others walking the same path.

Now it’s our turn to show up for him.

If you can give, please do. If you can’t, share this and help us reach someone who can.

Nearly 1 in 10 Americans struggle with substance use disorder, but only a fraction receive the treatment they need.

One of the biggest barriers?
Cost.

At Operation Rise Again, we provide scholarships for individuals who are ready for recovery but can’t afford access to care.

Recovery shouldn’t depend on financial privilege.

Friends,

We want to invite our community into a moment of prayer and reflection for Operation Rise Again.

Whether prayer is something you do every day, something you’re learning, or something you’re still figuring out — you are welcome here.

This Thursday evening at 9pm, we’re inviting you to pause wherever you are and join us in a collective moment of reflection, hope, and prayer.

Applicants of ORA……
That they may find direction, clarity, and purpose in their next steps. That they may find peace and confidence in the path ahead. That they may fall in love with the direction our Father has for them.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”
‭‭- Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

ORA’s board and members…..
To lead with humility, wisdom, and care. Continued discernment, integrity, and compassion in every decision we make. To remember that we are saved by His grace and not by our works.

For some, prayer looks like words.
For others, it looks like silence, intention, or simply showing up.

“For this reason I bow my knees before the Father… that you may be strengthened with power through His Spirit… that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
- Ephesians 3:14–19

Thank you for being part of this community.
All are welcome. Always.

Sunday Reflection 🤍

Today we’re thinking about second chances.

Jordan’s letter to Operation Rise Again reminds us what happens when someone is given real support instead of being written off. Recovery. Reconnection. A life rebuilt - step by step, not magically.

That’s what ORA exists for. Not perfection. Progress. Not judgment. Opportunity.

If you’re in a hard place, hear this: your story isn’t over.
If you’re in a place to help, your support matters more than you know.

Rest today. Reflect.
And remember, second chances change everything.

To Everyone Involved with Operation Rise Again: I don’t know where I would be today if not for Operation Rise Again. Most likely dead or in prison. Before I started my path to recovery, I had spent a total of eight years in prison - always going in, coming out, and going right back in. When I was

Today, we just want to pause and say thank you.

Thank you to the supporters, partners, donors, volunteers, and community members who show up, sometimes quietly, sometimes behind the scenes, but always with heart.❤️
