A big Doors to Dream welcome to our newest Program Manager, Cheryl Robinson! 💙

Born and raised in Summerville, Cheryl brings such a genuine heart for people, connection, and service to our team. She is passionate about encouraging others, making people feel seen and valued, and loving people well wherever she goes.

As a mother of three, grandmother of seven, Charleston local, Marvin Gaye fan, and proud red-glasses queen, Cheryl is already bringing so much warmth, joy, and personality to Doors to Dream.

We are so grateful she’s here and cannot wait for our students, families, and school partners to get to know her.

We don’t want students to get to graduation and feel like they’re standing at the edge of a huge next step by themselves. That’s a big reason we’ve spent so much time reworking Pathways to Purpose.

Yes, we want students to graduate. But we also want them to leave high school with confidence, direction, relationships, and a plan they actually understand.

First Friday of the school year, and we’re feeling extra excited for the next few weeks. 💙

Seeing some of our students back in the halls this week has made us even more ready for one of our favorite traditions: Signing Day.

These photos are from last year, when students made it official by signing their names and committing to a year of leadership, growth, and becoming the best version of themselves.

We can’t wait to watch a new group of leaders do the same soon.

Now that it’s August, we’re officially counting down to one of our favorite traditions: Signing Day. 💙

Last year, each Pathways to Leadership group signed their banner and committed to a year of growth, leadership, and showing up for themselves and each other.

These photos are making us very ready to do it all again in September.

We’re kicking off What We’re Building with a look at Pathways to Purpose, our high school program launching this year.

The goal is not just for students to graduate or “get a job.”

We want students leaving high school with direction — with skills, confidence, relationships, exposure, and a plan for what comes next.

This is a big part of what we’ve been building behind the scenes, and we’re excited to finally start sharing more of it with y’all. 💙
