Yesterday, we celebrated our 10th Annual Calling All Fathers Ceremony, and my heart is full.
Watching our scholars walk with confidence, serve with humility, and lead with character reminded me exactly why Boys With A Purpose exists. They truly embodied our motto:
LOOK GOOD. FEEL GOOD. DO GOOD.
To our parents, thank you for trusting me with your sons and allowing me to walk alongside you in helping shape young men of purpose.
To our teachers, volunteers, mentors, and community supporters, thank you for showing up year after year, pouring your time, wisdom, encouragement, and love into our scholars. This work would not happen without you.
A very special thank you to Dr. Courtney Howard, Dr. Harris, Dr. Freeman, and the entire staff at Memminger Elementary for your continued support, partnership, and belief in this vision over the years. Your investment has helped create moments and memories that our young men will carry for a lifetime.
As Founder and Director, this journey has not always been easy. There have been challenges, sacrifices, long days, and moments that tested my faith and commitment. But there have also been breakthroughs, smiles, transformed lives, relationships built, and moments that reminded me that purpose is always bigger than the struggle.
Ten years later, I am grateful, and the best part is we’re just getting started.
Here’s to the next 20 years of empowering young men, building leaders, strengthening families, and reminding every scholar that they are capable of greatness.
