We want to give a huge shoutout to one of our incredible volunteers who has been tirelessly collecting items for our Next Steps program for teens aging out of foster care. Because of her hard work and generosity, we now have an amazing collection of household essentials ready to help young adults start their next chapter.

If you have a teen who is aging out of care, recently moved into their first apartment, or if you’re a foster, kinship, or adoptive family who could use a little extra support, please reach out to us. We have items such as towels, pots, pans, kitchen essentials, and many other household necessities available.

Our goal is simple: get these items into the hands of families and young adults who need them most. If we can help make a transition a little easier or ease some financial stress, we would love the opportunity to serve you.

📚✂️ HELP US GIVE CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE A GREAT START TO THE SCHOOL YEAR! ✂️📚

As we prepare for our annual Back-to-School Giveaway, we're asking our community to come alongside and help make a difference.

We are currently looking for:
✂️ Hairdressers and barbers willing to donate their time on 8-2-26

🎒 School supply donations

💙 Financial contributions to help cover needs and provide resources for these amazing children

For many children in foster care, a new school year can bring uncertainty and anxiety. Together, we can help them walk into school feeling confident, prepared, and loved.

Every donation, every share, and every act of kindness makes a difference.

If you've ever wondered why foster parents are always running a few minutes behind... it's probably because getting one child ready is a challenge. Getting six, seven, or eight out the door? That's an Olympic sport. 😅

Behind every late arrival is a foster family juggling school schedules, therapy appointments, court dates, sports practices, sibling visits, forgotten shoes, missing backpacks, and the daily realities of caring for children who have experienced trauma.

Large foster families don't just make room in their homes—they make room in their hearts, routines, vehicles, budgets, and lives for children who need safety and stability.

So the next time you see a foster family rolling in a little late, give them some grace. Chances are they're doing something extraordinary.

📣 Volunteer Opportunity – Help Us Make a Bigger Impact!

I'm looking for a creative volunteer who would enjoy helping with marketing and communications for a local nonprofit.

Tasks may include:
• Creating flyers and graphics
• Assisting with social media posts and content
• Helping promote events and programs
• Sharing ideas for community outreach
• Other marketing-related projects as needed

This is a flexible opportunity that can mostly be done remotely and is a great way to build experience, strengthen your portfolio, and make a meaningful difference in the community.

If you enjoy design, social media, marketing, communications, or simply want to use your talents to help others, I'd love to connect with you!
