We honor the life and legacy of Mary Scott Taylor—beloved educator, musician, and co-founder of Na Fidleirí—whose passion for Irish music and dedication to her students shaped generations in our community.

Her spirit lives on in every note, every student, and every performance that continues her work.

Join Taylor Music Group as we carry that legacy forward at our performance of Messiah on April 12 at Circular Congregational Church. A memorial service will be held from 1:30–2:30 p.m., followed by the concert at 3:00 p.m.

✨ Let’s come together to celebrate her life through the music she loved.

It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Mary Taylor—our co-founder, a radiant presence in the Charleston arts community, and beloved wife of Rob and mother of Kiri. Mary’s vision, passion, and generosity helped shape the soul of Taylor Music Group, and her influence will be felt in our music and our community for generations to come.

As we navigate this difficult moment, we also look toward the power of gathering, singing, and supporting one another. Tonight’s Celtic and Classical Christmas program will go on as scheduled, and we will dedicate the performance to Mary’s memory.
