Centerville-Washington Foundation Accepting Requests for $5,000 DEI Grant

The Centerville-Washington Foundation, founded in 1998, is accepting grant requests for its 2026 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) grant. All potential applicants must submit a grant request form (GRF) no later than July 1, 2026, to be considered for this $5,000 grant. The fillable application is available on the Foundation’s website at https://centervillewashingtonfoundation.com/diversity-grant/

Grants may be used to promote diverse and welcoming establishments via candid dialogue and relationship-building events, educational programs, arts and culture projects, and other activities that will play a meaningful role in improving diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts in schools, businesses, local government, places of worship, and other community spaces. Past projects include supporting the India Club of Dayton’s Diwali Celebration by funding dance performances and culinary experiences that highlight the diverse cultures and languages of India’s many states. The Washington‑Centerville Public Library also received funding for translation and wayfinding signage, as well as expanded reading resources for patrons whose first language is not English.
