While we’re filling candy bowls at home, Blue Star Mothers Miami Valley OH3 is preparing to fill Christmas stockings for more than 1,300 service members. 💙🇺🇸

Wow Wow Wow - we can not thank The Rosko Group - Keller Williams Community Partners for once again (7th year!) holding a community drive for items for our Christmas Stocking Drive. Thank you to all who contributed to the over 10,000 items we received.

They served. They sacrificed. They deserve to be remembered. 🇺🇸

At Dayton National Cemetery, every headstone marks a life. Someone who once laughed around a dinner table, hugged a loved one goodbye, and answered the call to serve our country.

Their families remember them. Let’s show them our community remembers, too.

Our Blue Star Mothers chapter is proud to sponsor Wreaths Across America, and we’re asking for your help placing remembrance wreaths on veterans’ graves at Dayton National Cemetery.

This past weekend, Blue Star Mothers of America, Department of Ohio, held its annual convention, bringing together Blue Star Mothers from across the state for a wonderful weekend filled with laughter, joy, sisterhood, and a shared love of our country, our sons and daughters in uniform, and our veterans. 🇺🇸

Miami Valley OH3 was proudly represented by Chapter President Jeannine Dennehy and Chapter Treasurer Crystal Fox!

A Season in Department Leadership!

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to outgoing Department President Barb Cook, who has reached her term limit as President. Thank you, Barb, for your dedication, leadership, and commitment to Ohio’s Blue Star Mothers!

We also congratulate Angela Monroe as she steps into her new role as Department President! We look forward to the year ahead under her leadership.

A Little Extra OH3 Pride!

We are especially excited to celebrate our very own Jeannine and Crystal as they take on their new Department roles!

⭐ And there’s more exciting news for OH3!

Our very own Grace B was selected as a recipient of the Shining Star Award! Grace was nominated by Chapter President Jeannine and chosen by an independent panel of three Blue Star Mothers from outside our chapter.

Crystal proudly accepted the award on Grace’s behalf during the convention. We are so excited to see Grace recognized for her dedication and the heart she brings to our Blue Star Mothers family!

We’re hoping to surprise Grace with her award at our next chapter meeting, so if you see her before then, don’t spoil the surprise! Thankfully, she’s not on Facebook, so we can share the exciting news here!

We are incredibly proud of these ladies and honored to have them representing Miami Valley OH3 at the state level. We know they will bring the same dedication, passion, and commitment to our mission that they demonstrate within our chapter.

Congratulations to all of our newly elected officers, and thank you to everyone who continues to serve our mission!

The National Day of the Deployed is observed annually on October 26 across the United States to honor active-duty U.S. military personnel serving away from home and the family members who support them.

This is one of the reasons we send out care packages to our deployed service members.
