Now every student in the classroom has their own dictionary to use — helping them build vocabulary, boost confidence, and keep their learning growing strong, one new word at a time. 🌱✨

We feel incredibly lucky to support our school community in ways that truly make a difference.

For this month’s spotlight, we’re celebrating one of our favorite Centerville traditions — the Americana Festival fireworks show at Centerville High School Stadium! 🇺🇸✨

Each year, the CHS PTO helps bring the community together by offering the “Best Seats in the House” — one of the most popular ways to enjoy the evening. Families get a comfortable, reserved space with an amazing view of the festivities and fireworks, making the night even more memorable. 💛🖤

In late April, CHS PTO was proud to recognize four outstanding volunteers through our annual CHS Salutes Award ceremony.

Each year, the CHS Salutes Award honors members of our community who have generously contributed their time, energy, and resources to support Centerville High School, our students, our staff, and our community.

This year, we were honored to recognize:

Christine Bobzien, for her outstanding support of the Exercise Science Career Tech program and for helping provide meaningful student shadowing experiences through Kettering Hospital.

Jordan Jennings, for her dedication and leadership with the CHS Mock Trial program, including helping lead the team to state competition three of the last four years.

Sharon Sobecki and Stacey Hood, for their incredible service as PTO Hospitality co-chairs and for the many hours they have spent planning and supporting PTO events throughout the year.

We are so grateful for the commitment, generosity, and positive impact of each of these honorees. Thank you, Christine, Jordan, Sharon, and Stacey, for all you have done for Centerville High School!

Congratulations to our 2026 CHS PTO Scholarship recipients!

Each year, the CHS PTO is proud to award scholarships to graduating seniors to help support their higher education expenses. These scholarships recognize students who have made a positive impact on the Centerville High School community through their service, leadership, and commitment to others.

This year, we are excited to recognize three outstanding CHS seniors:

Mahir Muhasin Kaida
Madelyn Grace Dailey
Daniel Hamin Park

Congratulations to Mahir, Madelyn, and Daniel! We are proud of all you have contributed to CHS and wish you the very best as you begin your next chapter.

And thank you to our PTO Scholarship Chair, Darrien Kemp, for coordinating the program this year!
