Quilt Show today and tomorrow!! Come see over 100 quilts by our own guild members! Shop our vendors and our own Creative Craft Corner with handmade craft items, quilts for sale and the ever-popular Scrap Bags and Snippet Bags! Buy tickets to win one of two Raffle Quilts! The church Women’s Association is selling lunch goodies! Come to Southminster Presbyterian Church at 7001 Far Hills Ave (corner of Alex-Bell); park in the lower lot. Admission is $6 or $5 + canned good donation which goes to the church food pantry! Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm; raffle quilt winners drawn at 2pm Saturday!

We are set up and ready to sell raffle tickets to win our beautiful Raffle Quilts; tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. We are at the One Stop Shop Hop at the Nutter Center on Friday June 6 from 9am to 5pm and Saturday June 7 from 9am to 3pm. Entrance is through McLin, gate 9. Hope to see you there!!

Our June guild meeting was one of our workday meetings when we met from 3pm-9pm to work on our various outreach projects. We displayed the quilts we’ve finished over the past few months before they get delivered to their recipients. The photo on the left shows our lovely large lap quilts that will go to Hospice of Dayton. The photo on the right shows the simpler tied quilts we donate to the Dayton VA nursing home patients and our newest outreach addition of simple tied quilts for Project Linus teens, a need expressed by the new Dayton Chapter president who is also a new guild member. Nearly all the fabric used to make these quilts is donated!
