* Responded to 32 calls
* 64.5 hours were spent by Support Officers at the initial call (this number includes some follow up contact hours, however there is a significant amount of follow up hours not captured with this total)
* Volunteers traveled 699.2 miles to cover calls

WOW… what a fun night! 🍕🧩🍻

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our very first Pizza, Puzzles, & Pints fundraiser last night! Whether you were puzzling, just there for the pizza and pints, or somewhere in between, we are so thankful for you!

Thank you for being part of our inaugural event, we’re grateful to have had such a great group to kick things off. Thank you for rolling with us, laughing through the chaos, and being part of the “figure it out as we go” version of this event.

A huge thank you to Mark, Tara, and the District Brewing - Lynden Crew, who helped our crazy idea come to life and made the night happen! We appreciate you!

We learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and are already taking notes of how to make it even better next time.

Scholarship Opportunity!
The Deputy Matt Herzog Memorial Scholarship application for 2026 is officially OPEN.
We, at Support Officers of Whatcom County, are proud to offer this Memorial Scholarship in honor of Whatcom County Sheriff's Deputy Matt Herzog, whose dedication to serving and protecting our community left a lasting impact. This scholarship aims to support high school seniors pursuing a career in law enforcement or related field.
Each year, through the support of our incredible community and the annual Matt Herzog Memorial Golf Tournament, Support Officers of Whatcom County are able to award a scholarship to deserving students.
Because of YOU, our golfers, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, lives continue to be impacted year after year. Thank you for helping us continue honoring Matt’s legacy in a meaningful way.
