What an incredible day at the 21st Annual Matt Herzog Memorial Golf Tournament!

Twenty-one years later, this community continues to show up in a big way to honor Matt’s memory. We are incredibly grateful to every golfer, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this year’s tournament such a success.

This tournament has always been about more than a day of golf. It’s about remembering Matt, honoring his legacy, and continuing to make a difference in our community in his name.

The generosity shown year after year allows us to continue to fund the Deputy Matt Herzog Memorial Scholarship as well as Support Officers of Whatcom County.

To everyone who played, sponsored, donated, volunteered, or helped behind the scenes, thank you for being part of another amazing year and for continuing to keep Matt’s legacy alive.

Tonight, our community came together in a beautiful show of love for Killian and his family.
More than 300 people gathered to remember a little boy who touched so many lives, to support one another, and to remind his family that they do not walk this journey alone.

To Killian’s family, thank you for allowing our community to grieve alongside you, to celebrate Killian’s life, and to honor the joy and light he brought into this world. We hope tonight served as a reminder that you are surrounded by a community that cares deeply and will continue to stand beside you.

A heartfelt thank you to Lex Photography for generously donating your time and talent to capture these meaningful moments, and to The Sound Crew and Events for providing the sound that helped make the evening so special. Your kindness and generosity made a difference.

A quiet thank you as well to Westford Funeral Home & Cremation for graciously loaning us equipment to help make this evening possible. Your generosity behind the scenes is deeply appreciated.

Most of all, thank you to every person who came, lit a candle, shared a memory, or simply stood in silence. Every candle, every hug, every voice, and every moment of quiet reflection was a reminder that our community shows up.

May we continue to surround Killian’s family with love in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Tonight was a beautiful reminder that even in the deepest sorrow, a community can come together to carry one another through the darkness.

💙 Rest peacefully, sweet Killian. You will never be forgotten.
