Last year in October, we saw 200+ families more than we did in any of our other months. We are experiencing this same spike already this month. With that comes some difficult supply issues. Every time I arrive with a carload of essential hygiene items, it’s gone within 24 hours.

A lot of our neighbors are struggling extra hard right now.

Here’s what we MOST need…
- Prayers
- Toilet paper
- Diapers size 4, 5, and 6
- Laundry detergent
- Dish soap
- Baby wipes

Thank you to those that continue to support and pray for us!

***THANK YOU especially to those that sent us lots and lots of winter coats and sleeping bags!!!***

It's finally feeling like fall here! Cold and wet. One thing we would love to be able to offer is warm beverages in our waiting room other than coffee (which we always have). We would love to get donations of TEA packets, hot COCOA packets, and apple C***R packets that clients can enjoy while they wait!

We also have had a lot of requests for rain coats, waterproof shoes, and tarps/hand warmers.

We are busy busy here at Hope House! We have served a total of 325 households this month so far, for a total of about 1,000 individuals. We have had lots of donations coming in (thank you!!) and lots of clients needing support.

One of the things I include in my opening prayer every morning before we open the doors to clients is I pray that people who come through our doors will feel safe, loved, heard, and seen and that we can look past whatever external factors they're presenting and care for their heart/soul. This week alone, I've had two separate clients on separate days tell me that they love coming to Hope House not just for the stuff, but because it feels like home to them. This means more to me than anything else - that people know they are valued and cared about here.

Please join me in praying for our Hope House clients and let's wrap them in our love and support while they battle the challenges of daily life!

We have had to say "no" to a lot of clients today who have big needs. Here is what clients are asking for that we haven't had available, if anyone is interested in dropping some off!

- Toilet Paper
- Sleeping bags
- Toothpaste
- Diapers sizes 5 and 6
- Umbrellas
- Flashlights

It's starting to get cold and we have many clients that are sleeping outside right now. We would also love to stock pile lots of water proof, warm items to help keep our neighbors warm.

Thank you for supporting us, praying for us, and spreading the word.
