Happy Summer!
Buckhead Condo Alliance Community!
Meeting August 24, 2026
@ 6:45 on Zoom

We’re excited to announce an unusual summer meeting—and fortunately, you won’t have to leave the comfort of your air conditioning at home to attend. With what feels like the winds of the Sahara Desert swirling around us, we can all agree that a Zoom meeting is the much cooler option!

A Zoom link will be provided to our members, so join the BCA is my mantra!
We hope to see you there—virtually, of course!

Kent Atzinger of Access Management Group (https://us.list-manage.com/drSrCE32kXa?e=ce5e8551b7&c2id=d1fdf656b1a0d16cb2ac3419d06121fe) will present a timely update on the requirements and implementation challenges associated with Georgia Senate Bill 406 (SB 406). Several provisions of the legislation were scheduled to take effect in June, and the Secretary of State’s Office is currently working to finalize its processes. This update will provide clarity on where the requirements currently stand, what changes organizations should be prepared for, and any implementation challenges that have emerged. We will also maintain a roundtable discussion to share information, address questions, and discuss ongoing challenges related to the bill.

Here’s our schedule for the rest of the year:
August - follow up to SB406
August 25th - NPU-B Zoning
September 1st - NPU-B Public Safety and General meeting
September 28th - Governing documents related to updated legislation
October 26th - Building Code enforcement
November TBD - Recap and follow up of any topics discussed
December - Holiday gathering

There will be neighborhood updates in the zoom meeting.

📣 We need your help!

The Loud Car Study Committee will meet on August 20, led by State Representative Matt Dubnik. To help committee members understand how loud vehicles and modified mufflers affect our communities, we are creating informational binders filled with personal experiences and professional impact statements.

We are seeking input from:

• Individuals — How does excessive vehicle noise affect your daily life, sleep, health, or pets?

• Physicians and patients — How does excessive noise affect physical or mental health?

• Businesses — Have customers or guests complained, particularly at hotels and restaurants?

• Law enforcement — How do related 911 calls affect operations? Where are these issues most prevalent, and what resources would help?

• Churches, senior centers, and community organizations — How does excessive vehicle noise affect those you serve?

Please send your statement or letter by August 15 so it can be included in the committee’s informational binder. Every voice and personal experience can help demonstrate the true impact on our communities. Email: [email protected] Please share!
