In partnership with Stronghold Insurance Company Inc. – Western Visayas Corporate Center, Capiz Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (CaPENRO), Local Government Unit of Tapaz, Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office of Tapaz (MENRO), and the community of Barangay Agcococ, we were able to plant 100 seedlings of fruits trees.

33 employee volunteers from Stronghold's Western Visayas branch joined the tree planting activity as they were supported and guided by our local officials from the local municipality and barangay.

As long as we work together, we can plant a greener future for the next generation 🌳

His life was marked by open-handed generosity, compassion for those in need, and faith to press forward in every endeavor.

In helping families in Cebu recover from the earthquake and aftershocks last September, the David C. Mercado Foundation, Inc. partnered with Sterling Insurance Company, Inc. Head Office and Cebu branch in giving 200 packs of relief goods last October 29, 2025.

Purok Pilo and Purok Makiangayon, Barangay Guadalupe in Bogo City received hygiene items, food packs, and rice to support their recovery.

Resilience is a collaborative effort. Together, let's build it hand-in-hand with our communities 🤝

The David C. Mercado Foundation, Inc. and Bethel General Insurance and Surety Corp. joined Hospicio de San Jose in Manila City for their National Children’s Month Opening celebration last November 8, 2025.

Together with 24 employee volunteers and DCMFI’s board members, we were able to celebrate the children and residents of Hospicio de San Jose through art activities such as tote-bag making, flower making, and hand-painting activities. 🎨

Impacting the whole social welfare institution, we were able to provide shoes, apparel, food, hygiene and laundry items, medical supplies, and cash that will support the care of their 153 residents.

We hope to continue the legacy of the late Mr. David C. Mercado Sr. as he has supported Hospicio throughout the years until he passed away in 2023. In 2015, he was recognized as one of the financial contributors that consistently supported the institution.

Together, let’s make the world a better place for the Filipino children. ☀
