Turn your Scout idea into action. 🌍

The Messengers of Peace Fund, supported by World Scouting and the World Scout Foundation, is offering USD 10,000–30,000 per project to National Scout Organisations and eligible National Scout Associations.

The 2026 call supports projects that:

✅ Inspire young people as Messengers of Peace through peace, coexistence and community service
✅ Strengthen Scout organisations through areas such as governance, Youth Programme, volunteering and organisational development
✅ Drive community action by enabling young people to contribute to peace and sustainable development

Projects should respond to local community needs, involve young people and communities, and have the potential to create lasting impact.

📅 Application deadline: 15 September 2026
🚀 Projects can start from November 2026

Scouts from around the world, come together in Colombo! 🌏⚜️

Sri Lanka Scout Association invites Scouts and leaders to the 11th National Scout Jamboree, happening 17–23 January 2027 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Sports Complex, Diyagama, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Celebrating 115 years of Scouting excellence, the Jamboree will bring together 10,000 local Scouts and 2,000 international Scouts for seven days of adventure, learning, friendship and discovery.

💰 Registration fee: USD 200 for Youth Participants, Adult Unit Leaders and CMT Members; USD 150 for IST Members
📅 Expression of Interest deadline: 20 September 2026
👥 Eligibility: Youth Participants aged 12–18; Adult Unit Leaders, CMT Members and IST Members aged 18+

The Asia-Pacific Region recently wrapped up its 2026 Management Meeting—bringing the team together to reflect on our progress, align on priorities and keep moving forward in how we support National Scout Organizations (NSOs) across the Region.

We’re building on the work already underway—strengthening governance, supporting NSOs and membership growth, investing in youth and adult development, advancing Safe from Harm, growing programme impact, strengthening partnerships, and building our capacity to deliver.

And we’re taking that momentum forward.

A look inside the World Scouting Zone at the 12th Indonesia National Jamboree! 🇮🇩⚜️

From 15–19 August, the World Scouting Zone brought Scouts and participants from around the world together in Cibubur to discover what it means to be part of one global Movement.

Through interactive activities, Scouts explored Scouts for SDGs, World Scouting’s Educational Programmes, and Regional and World Scouting Events—while discovering new ways to learn, connect and take action.

Scouting continues to play a role in equipping young people to make informed choices.

Scout leaders from across Southeast Asia gathered in Singapore for the SEASARC Anti-Drug & Anti-Substance Abuse Badge Scheme Train-the-Trainers Workshop, where they gained the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver the badge programme in their respective National Scout Organizations.

Through this train-the-trainers approach, participants will bring the programme back to their countries and equip more young people with the knowledge to make informed choices.

By investing in Scout leaders first, the programme aims to build a wider network of educators who can help young people better understand the risks of drugs and substance abuse, while strengthening prevention efforts across Southeast Asia.
