The recognition honors the Foundation's unwavering commitment to expanding access to education and its meaningful contribution to PUP's mission of academic excellence and student development.

Since 2016, the BDB Law Foundation has partnered with PUP through its scholarship program, providing financial assistance to deserving students and helping them pursue higher education. This long-standing collaboration reflects the Foundation's belief that education is a powerful catalyst for creating opportunities and empowering future professionals.

The recognition was conferred during the Recognition Awards for Collaborative Engagement (RACE) Year 4, held on July 24, 2026, where the BDB Law Foundation was among the organizations recognized under the Outstanding Partners in Scholarship and Financial Assistance category.

𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

On July 18, 2026, the 𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, together with the 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, convened a 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 with the 𝐀𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 to strengthen partnerships and support the long-term development of Katutubo that centers on helping develop a sustainable livelihood of the Village in Planas, Porac, Pampanga.

The discussion brought together the Tribal Council and the BDB Foundation to identify community priorities beyond school meal programs. Through open and honest dialogue, participants highlighted opportunities for collaboration in livelihood and education, including the community’s access to the Foundation’s Scholar Assistance Program for learners. These conversations helped shape the foundation for sustainable, community-led initiatives.

The BDB Foundation delegation was led by 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐚 𝐃𝐮-𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐝, Chairman; 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐨 𝐃. 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧, Vice Chairman; 𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐚 𝐑𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐳, Trustee; 𝐂𝐨𝐞𝐥𝐢 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐳; and 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨. More than a consultation, the meeting was an opportunity to listen, build trust, and strengthen partnerships that place the community at the center of every initiative. As we celebrate 𝐃𝐮-𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 (𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐰)'𝐬 𝟏𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲, we reaffirm that our commitment goes beyond providing exceptional legal and tax services—it is also about creating meaningful and lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Together with the 𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and in partnership with 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 and the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝), we visited 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐛𝐨 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 in Porac, Pampanga, to support initiatives that promote child nutrition, education, and sustainable community development for the 𝐀𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐜𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

The day was filled with meaningful interactions as BDB Law employees led storytelling sessions and interactive learning activities for the students, creating a fun and engaging environment that encouraged curiosity, learning, and confidence. Beyond the classroom activities, our team joined the mothers in preparing and serving nutritious meals for the children, emphasizing the value of proper nutrition and the power of working together to care for the community.

To further support the students' health and well-being, we also distributed hygiene kits containing essential personal care items, helping promote healthy habits that contribute to a safe and positive learning environment.

These shared experiences reflected the spirit of collaboration among volunteers, parents, teachers, and community members, reinforcing our belief that meaningful change begins when people come together with a shared purpose.

As we mark this milestone, we remain committed to giving back, fostering partnerships that create lasting change, and helping build stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.

𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞

We proudly present the successful 𝐆𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐬 held at 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐚 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥—marking the pilot implementation of this meaningful project. This milestone showcases the dedication, teamwork, and hard work of our learners, teachers, and stakeholders in promoting sustainable gardening within the school community.

From preparing the soil to nurturing each plant, our students have gained not only knowledge in agriculture but also valuable life skills such as responsibility, patience, and environmental awareness. The outputs presented reflect the collective effort of everyone involved in making this program a success.

Adding inspiration to the event, 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐚 𝐃𝐮-𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐝 Founding Partner and CEO of BDB Law shared a heartfelt message, reminding everyone that the harvest is not just a product of planting, but also of sipag, tiyaga, at pagtutulungan. She emphasized that through this program, learners develop values that go beyond the classroom—lessons that will guide them as they grow into responsible and caring individuals.

As the pilot implementation, this initiative serves as a strong foundation and model that we aspire to replicate in more schools across the country—bringing the benefits of the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program to more communities nationwide.

The Gulayan sa Paaralan Program continues to inspire us to cultivate not just gardens, but also a deeper appreciation for nature and the importance of food security. Together, we are planting the seeds for a healthier and more sustainable future.

𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is honored to share that it has been granted renewed accreditation by the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐆𝐎 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐏𝐂𝐍𝐂).

This accreditation affirms that the Foundation continues to meet the highest standards of good governance, transparency, and accountability required of non-stock, non-profit organizations. The renewed certification is valid for five (5) years, recognizing the Foundation’s sustained commitment to responsible stewardship and impactful community initiatives.

Through the BDB Law Foundation, 𝐃𝐮-𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 (𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐰) continues to advance programs that support education, health, community development, and social responsibility, helping create meaningful opportunities and positive change in the communities we serve.

𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 proudly inaugurated and turned over a newly constructed school building with a clinic to 𝐓𝐢𝐩𝐨 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 in Hermosa, Bataan, providing a safe and conducive learning environment for approximately 1,700 students and 57 educators. The classroom facility is fully furnished with armchair desks, whiteboard and blackboard, wall fans, a comfort room, and an insulated roof to help ensure greater classroom comfort. The school clinic is likewise fully equipped, featuring its own comfort room, a patient bed, weighing scale, and essential medical supplies to support the health and well-being of students.

The ceremony, led by 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧, included the blessing and ribbon-cutting of the building and was warmly welcomed by Principal 𝐉𝐨𝐞𝐝 𝐓. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐳, Public School District Supervisor 𝐀𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐒. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐬, Barangay Chairman 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐓. 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧, and the school community.
To further support the well-being of students, the event also featured the 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦, made possible through the partnership of 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐇𝐓𝐇𝐃 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝) in celebration of its 10th anniversary, led by their 𝐂𝐅𝐎, 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐝.

At the 𝐌𝐀𝐏 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 on February 11, 2026, the 𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, through Project Coordinator 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐨𝐞𝐥𝐢 𝐉𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐳, presented 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐁𝐃𝐁 – 𝐃𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲, a strategic initiative led by 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐚 𝐃𝐮-𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐝, Chairman of the BDB Law Foundation, advancing sustainable, school-based solutions to support child development and address the long-term causes of stunting.

Anchored on the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐆𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, the project establishes 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 consisting of vegetable production plots, plant nurseries, composting facilities, and vertical gardens. These gardens function as self-sustaining ecosystems that produce fresh, nutrient-rich crops while serving as living laboratories where students learn the science of cultivation, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.

More than infrastructure, Duyan ng Buhay represents a scalable model for investing in human capital at the earliest stage—strengthening nutrition awareness, promoting sustainability, and empowering communities through education and shared responsibility.

Through this initiative, the 𝐁𝐃𝐁 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 reaffirms its commitment to creating enduring, community-based solutions that contribute to healthier, more resilient generations.
