Life Education Counties Manukau

Life Education Counties Manukau Educating and empowering children to make healthy choices so they can live full and healthy lives. Our principal sponsor is Auckland Airport.

We work in primary and intermediate schools to provide children with the knowledge to make positive choices about health, build resilience and celebrate their uniqueness. Life Education’s work enhances the quality of children's lives, with the purpose of educating and empowering children to make healthy decisions so they can live their lives to the fullest. Our programme focuses on building strong

, healthy and confident children in partnership with our local schools. Every lesson is planned to suit particular age groups and through annual visits, this information is retained, built upon and used by our students as they grow. Our Māori name Waiora Tamariki was gifted to us by the team at the airport marae, Te Manukanuka o Hoturoa.

When you think of Life Education Trust and Healthy Harold, you will likely associate us with the Health learning area, but did you know we also cover aspects of Social Sciences and Science? We can deliver programmes across all three learning areas, integrating these into what schools are already doing or introducing learning that you are planning to cover in class. A knowledge-rich curriculum requires knowledge to be carefully integrated and revisited over time, and this is an area we can help you with.

If you want to enquire about booking us in for 2027, you can fill in this form and we'll get in touch with you! https://forms.gle/mC17CM36XChu1swL9

When we were at Mangere Bridge School, Harold wanted to check what everyone was having for lunch. He was very impressed to see the variety of food that everyone was eating and how balanced their lunch boxes looked. He could see all the different sources of nutrients that were going to keep their bodies growing!

Harold loves cultural language weeks, as it is a great chance to experience and honour the many languages of NZ. Whenever possible our educators include these languages into the lessons being taught during their visits.

Harold had a wonderful time with Principal Maxine Tau and the students at South Auckland SDA School during Cook Island Language Week.
