Sharing God’s love with families and children living in poverty across Europe

30/09/2026

✨ What does hope look like?

For some, it's a warm blanket in the middle of winter. For others, it's the chance to go to school, attend camp, or dream about a brighter future.

Our new Annual Magazine is filled with stories of hope from across Eastern Europe. You'll meet families in Ukraine, see the impact of Winter Rescue, discover how scholarships are changing lives, and read inspiring stories from Seeds of Hope, Summer Camps, and Operation Cover Up.

Every story is possible because people like you choose to care.

So grab a cuppa, take a few minutes, and see the difference your prayers, generosity and support are making. ❤️

Veronica & Helen were at SlavFest in Wellington over the weekend! It was lovely to experience a little taste of Eastern European culture through music, dance and food, and to connect with so many people along the way.

A big congratulations to our quiz prize winners who went into the draw, we hope you enjoyed putting your Eastern European knowledge to the test! 🎉

Alick and a group of our supporters visiting families in Moldova who are part of the Mission Without Borders family sponsorship program

These visits are a special opportunity to meet families face-to-face, hear their stories, see how they’re growing, and witness the difference that faithful support can make not only moving towards a brighter future but reaching people for Christ🫶

Supporter tour out in the field in Moldova, visiting families, spending time with the children and seeing our after-school programs in action

We’re so grateful to have supporters along for the journey!🙏

✈️ **SUPPORTER TOUR ENROUTE!** 🌍

Alick, our Church & Philanthropy Manager, is currently in transit at Hong Kong airport with a couple of our lovely MWB supporters, as they make their way to Moldova & Romania!

They’ll be visiting their sponsored families and children, meeting our incredible field teams, and seeing firsthand the life-changing work happening on the ground.

How exciting! We’re so grateful for opportunities like this to connect with our supporters in person and share the vision of transforming the lives of those in need.

Safe travels team! More supporter tour updates to come😊

A massive shoutout and big thanks to generosity donating hundreds of hoodies to this year's Operation Cover Up shipping containers!

These hoodies didn't quite meet Cloke's exacting standards for their clients — but they're warm, well-made, and about to make a real difference for families and children living in poverty across Eastern Europe🙌
We're grateful we could help them find a better home than landfill

Got quality stock looking for a purpose? We'd love to chat

For children growing up in poverty, summer camp isn’t just about games – it’s also where they learn important life skills. For some, that means simple daily routines like brushing their teeth and washing their hands. For others, it’s learning about teamwork, behavior, and building confidence through activities and play.

Camp doesn’t just create happy memories; it helps equip children for life.

For children like Darius, summer camp is more than a holiday. It’s a rare moment of true joy, freedom and belonging.” (“I want to give my family everything their hearts desire,” says 11-year-old Darius*. “Maybe a big house… and a washing machine for my mother.” His hopes are shaped by a different reality: earning enough to support his family. Thoughtful and deeply caring, he sees the weight his parents carry, and he feels it, too.

For many children in Eastern Europe living in poverty, summer camp is the only holiday they will ever have. Mission Without Borders staff and volunteers help create a safe, warm, and joyful place where children can simply be children. At home, many have little chance to rest, play, or try new experiences. At camp, they discover what childhood can look like: time to play, swim, laugh, eat well, and enjoy simple joys they often miss out on.

Most of all, camp gives children joy and memories that stay with them long after summer ends, reminding them that they matter and are not forgotten.
