A big thank you to Petrina D’Rozario for organizing this remarkable event in Auckland — bringing India and New Zealand together through the magic of film.

We were delighted to welcome Farah Khan, one of India’s most influential filmmakers, who visited New Zealand on a 3-day trip to support and promote this initiative. 🙌

Rotary Counties Manukau is privileged to be part of this cultural collaboration and looks forward to supporting the Indian Film Festival 2026. 🎥🇮🇳🇳🇿

The India–New Zealand screen connection has a rich 30-year history — including a golden era from 1996 to 2002 when over 100 Indian films were shot right here in Aotearoa. Here’s to reviving that creative partnership and building new bridges through storytelling! 💫

The evening was filled with colour, culture, and compassion — a true celebration of community spirit. Together, we not only celebrated Diwali, the festival of lights, but also raised vital funds to support our ongoing community projects. 🙏💛

Rotary Counties Manukau’s Diwali Fundraiser last night was a huge success! 🎉✨

The energy, colour, music, and spirit of giving filled the air as our community came together to celebrate the festival of lights by fundraising for Red Cross India for the victims of recent flooding in Punjab, India🙏💛

A big thank you to everyone who joined us, contributed, performed, and helped make the evening unforgettable. Your support truly lights up lives in our community. 💫

What an incredible day celebrating the spirit of Diwali with our community in Papatoetoe! 🎉✨

Special appreciation for fellow Rotarian Sachin Chauhan, who donated two pallets of hydration drinks.

A huge thank you to our fellow Rotarian Pal Productions for generously providing our stall — your support helped make the day a success! 🙌

It was a hot, sunny day, but we kept the community cool and refreshed by distributing two full pallets of free hydration drinks 🧃💦 — and they were gone in no time!

We loved connecting with everyone, sharing smiles, and being part of such a vibrant and joyful celebration. 💛

Our Rotary Counties Manukau team had a fantastic time last night at Rotary Botany Downs’ double celebration 🎉 Their 5th Anniversary and Poke for Polio Night were truly a night to remember! 💙❤️

It was an evening filled with laughter, fellowship, and inspiration — all in support of Rotary’s mission to end polio. A huge congratulations to Rotary Botany Downs for 5 amazing years of service and for hosting such a wonderful fundraising event.

Spreading Kindness, One Act at a Time

We were truly honoured to receive a heartfelt message from Sarah Page, Founder & Chief Executive of the Kindness Collective, expressing gratitude for our club’s support of their Winter Warmers campaign.

Thanks to the incredible Kindness of our members and supporters, we’ve been able to help bring warmth and comfort to families facing hardship during the colder months. Your donations, time, and care have made a real impact—offering not just physical warmth, but a powerful reminder that our community stands together in compassion and solidarity.

Every item shared, every kind word spoken, and every act of giving is helping to lift someone’s burden. Together, we are creating a ripple effect of kindness that reaches far beyond what we can see.

Members of Rotary Counties Manukau, in heartfelt collaboration with the Rotary Club of Botany Downs and the amazing team at Kindness Collective, proudly took part in this year’s Winter Warmers initiative. 💙❄️

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our members, supporters, and wider community, we were able to donate essential winter items — including cosy pyjamas, warm blankets, and socks — to help families doing it tough this winter.

It was a privilege to roll up our sleeves to shop, pack, and deliver these much-needed supplies. A true reminder of what Rotary is all about: compassion, connection, and community service.

This effort beautifully reflects this year’s Rotary theme, “Unite for Good,” as we joined forces to turn chilly days into warmer, brighter moments for the whānau in need.

Huge thanks to everyone involved — this is what People of Action looks like. 💛

Rotary in Action this Morning at Bruce Pullman Park! 🏉💧

A great morning supporting our future sports stars from the Takanini Sports Club! Rotary Counties Manukau provided a full pallet of sugar-free hydration drinks to keep the young athletes refreshed and energised. 💪💦

Leading from the front were Akhilesh Chaudhry, Ravi Virk, Lalit Arya, and Harpal Lohi — making sure every player stayed hydrated and ready to perform their best. 🙌

Special thanks to our Rotary President for being all set and on-site early, representing the spirit of service with pride!
