✨ Ngā mihi nui ki tō tātou Ariki Tapairu ✨

As a collective, Mā Te Huruhuru, we proudly celebrate our CEO, Mahera Hauiti-Maihi, as we share this special chapter with our wider community — her marriage 💍, and the anticipated arrival of her precious baby girl this October 👶💛

He wā whakahirahira tēnei — grounded in aroha, whakapapa, and whānau. 🌿

In te ao Māori, whānau is the heartbeat of all that we do — grounding us, carrying us, and reminding us that every step forward is never taken alone, but as part of something interwoven and enduring. 🤍

“Ko te pae tawhiti whāia kia tata, ko te pae tata whakamaua kia tīna — pursue the distant horizons so they may become near and hold fast to those that are close.”

E te Ariki Tapairu, we honour you as a leader and as a wahine carrying forward the strength of whakapapa. ✨

May your whānau be richly adorned with aroha, manaakitanga, and kotahitanga, and may your home be filled with warmth, laughter, and the joyful anticipation of your pēpi. 🏡💛

He taonga te aroha, he taonga te mokopuna — treasures to be cherished and carried forward through generations. 🌿

From all of us at Mā Te Huruhuru, we stand with you in celebration 🎉 and in pride.

Ngā manaakitanga nui ki a koutou katoa 🌿

Kia ora whānau,

We celebrate our incredible He Pā Piringa & He Pā Tupu graduates ❤️

Watching our taitamariki grow through their housing journey towards independence has been something truly special. From resilience, courage, and determination, to embracing who they are as Māori.

You have gained your feathers to fly into te ao and follow your own pathway to success. Never forget where you come from, the mana you carry, and the greatness that sits within each of you.

As Mā Te Huruhuru, we are beyond proud of your achievements, your growth, and the bright futures ahead. Seeing you celebrate your culture, your identity, and your success fills our hearts with pride.

Keep flying high, e ngā rangatira mā. This is only the beginning ❤️

To our taitamariki, congratulations — you did this ❤️
You have earned your feathers, now fly boldly into te ao and chase your moemoeā with courage and pride.

To our beautiful partners, Kindness Collective and Hoani Waititi Marae, words cannot express our gratitude for your ongoing support. Thank you for not only supporting this graduation, but for continuously nurturing and uplifting the journeys of our taitamariki.

A special mihi to the rangatahi and kaimahi of Hoani Waititi Marae for the incredible kai and marae provided. The food was absolutely beautiful, cooked and presented with so much care and manaaki. We truly take our hats off to you all and send our heartfelt thanks ❤️

Kia ora tātou,

We are excited to celebrate the graduation of our taitamariki from both He Pā Piringa and He Pā Tupu, including the very first graduation for He Pā Tupu.

This moment reflects their hard mahi, growth toward independence, and stronger connection to being Māori. Watching their journeys, resilience, and achievements is something we are truly proud of 💕
