Wiri Business Association We support businesses, owners and staff in the Wiri Business Improvement District They also have access to our support.

Representing local businesses, we deliver services such as security, events and training alongside support such as networking, introductions, problem solving and knowledge sharing. Property or business owners who pay rates in our area, are automatically members of our Wiri Business Association and benefit from our full suite of services (see our website for more information). Outside of our rateab

le area, businesses can join us as Associate Members and get included in all events and networking. Membership forms are available on our website or you can contact us directly. Established in 2006, in response to escalating criminal and anti-social behaviour in the region, and demand for co-ordinated business networks, the Wiri Business Association now represents the largest physical potential for commercial/industrial development.

Sick of waiting for our quarterly first aid course?

Wiri Business is pleased to announce that we've made some changes to our first aid course offerings to ensure greater flexibility and increased value to our local businesses.

We have partnered with St John and will be offering spaces on their public courses at a discounted price.

That means staff no longer need to wait for our quarterly course - they can access training that's closer to their homes and on a date that suits them.

Plus we are now happy to offer access to a wider range of courses including:

⛑️Mental Health First Aid
⛑️Mental Health First Aid Refresher

Earlier this week, our GM Gary hosted a productive day of connecting local businesses with the Delegation from the Indian Consulate.

After the first stop to the new Wiri Business office, was The Sebel Auckland Manukau where valuable conversations were had around strengthening relationships and supporting local business growth.

The afternoon included a visit to Critical., providing a great insight into the innovation, expertise, and investment happening within our local manufacturing sector. A special mention to Rui, who did an outstanding job speaking about the business, its journey, and future opportunities.

Thank you also to Nauhria Group for hosting us at their site and sharing their perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing New Zealand businesses today.

Days like these highlight the importance of getting out into our communities. A great opportunity to build stronger relationships and some great opportunities for future collaboration with India.

The sun came out to celebrate the opening of our new Wiri Business Office, and it was fantastic to welcome local businesses and special guests Chris Hipkins and Arena Williams from the Labour Party.

The event provided a great opportunity to connect with our neighbours, strengthen local relationships, and hear more about Labour's priorities for the economy, employment, and healthcare - issues that matter to businesses and communities alike.

A big thank you to everyone who took the time to join us. We’re excited to be be in our new office and share our new meeting room facilities with our business community.

Thanks to our neighbours Appresso Catering and Manukau Lunch Bar for providing the delicious catering.
