We’re excited for the return of Walkies! our October doggy walking fundraiser to support people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

During October, the month of World Homeless Day, we’re asking you and your four-legged friend to walk 1.8km a day.

It’s free to sign up and all we’re asking you to do is raise £30 and we’ll send you a bandana for your dog, or a Launchpad snood if you want to be part of the event but don’t have a dog.

Friday is our relaxing day at our Works and Life Skills Centre. Tomorrow we have women's only mindfulness and relaxation workshop (11am), and the same for men only at 1:20pm. 🧘‍♀️

We will also have a beautician in who will be giving mini manicures and facials from 12:30pm (please book in advance). Phone the centre on 0118 929 1135 or visit the WLSC page on our website. 😀

We've got Citizen's Advice Reading at our Work and Life Skills Centre tomorrow between 2-3pm for a digital/financial support workshop. And you can do your laundry at the same time as our washing machines are available. Open to all.

If you haven't heard of our work and life skills centre in Cardiff Road - where have you been? 🤔

The centre is open every weekday between 10am and 3pm and offers a wide range of sessions for people over the age of 18. The sessions are all designed to support skills development, enhance wellbeing and foster social inclusion. You can self refer - just get in touch with our friendly team. 😀
