Sometimes all it can take are a few poor decisions, some bad luck or an unexpected change in circumstances. Absolutely brilliant efforts from Kenvue on our allotments last week.

The team spent three days with us and one of their jobs was preparing the ground for a new polytunnel and installing the frame.

On our allotment we grow mainly vegetables, including potatoes, green beans, radish, broccoli, garlic, onions, courgettes and peppers - there is always work to do!

We welcome corporate groups through the year, usually between March and October and it is a fantastic morning, afternoon or day of team building.

Produce that is harvested is donated to our friends at Readifood, Reading's Food Bank, which is run by the FAITH Christian Group and some is used in cooking at our work and life skills centre.
