SAVE A LIFE 💙 An evening with St John Ambulance

Our next open meeting is something different - and genuinely one of the most valuable hours you could spend this season.

St John Ambulance are joining us to run through the first-aid skills that can make the difference when it matters most. The session is inspired by our own Michael McDonagh, recently honoured with the FA's Bravery in Action Award at the Referee Recognition Awards 2026, after sustaining CPR for 20 minutes on a collapsed goalkeeper and helping save his life.

📅 Thursday 17 September
⏰ Arrive early for a drink · starts promptly 7:30pm (hard to do CPR holding a pint 🍺!)
📍 Earley Home Guard Social Club, Pitts Lane, Earley RG6 1BT

Open to all referees and the wider football community — tag a mate who should come along.

St John Ambulance is a charity — donations on the night are very welcome 💚

It's come to our attention the circus is in town. Rather than send more clowns to show, we've decided to move this evening's training to Clayfield Copse, Caversham. It's a 6.30pm start. See you there
