We have a role available as Admissions Coordinator. The first point of contact for prospective residents, commissioners, families and referring agencies, you will play a vital role in ensuring that individuals receive a professional, welcoming and supportive experience from their first enquiry through to admission. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed Christian with excellent communication and organisational skills and experience working within social care or similar setting to join the amazing team here at Yeldall Manor and help people begin their recovery journey.

Coming up in September - can you support the trip with a small gift?

At Yeldall Manor, we work with men to support them as they explore restoring their connection with God, others, the world and themselves, help them to discover and develop healthy ways to meet their needs for security, significance and self-worth, addressing the patterns that sustain addiction; and support them to experience relief or healing for the wounds, pain and emotional distress that underly addiction.

This September as part of the programme, we’re taking 15 of the residents sailing! Working with the Cirdan Sailing Trust, the men will be sailing from Fambridge in Essex on the Queen Galadriel. The aim of the trip, is to provide the guys with the opportunity to discover their capabilities and encourage them to achieve more than they ever thought possible. The experience will allow them to develop life skills, increase self-confidence and self-esteem, build resilience, improve communication and teamwork skills, as well as help to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

A sailing voyage takes people away from their usual surroundings and puts them into an environment where they must understand and accept authority, live and work as a team and be resilient – many of the same values and skills we encourage during their time in Yeldall. As the voyage progresses, they’ll learn to accept the disciplines and constraints of life on board a sailing vessel, and alongside their peers and fellow crew members face up to the challenges that produce positive outcomes. The experience will help give them the tools to progress and succeed in their future – and recovery.

The Cirdan Trust have generously reduced their normal costs for us, but to make the trip possible we need to raise a minimum of £1,250. We’re always so grateful for all your donations to Yeldall Manor’s programme, helping more men recover from addiction. If you feel able to contribute to this trip to help the guys who’ll be with us in September have this experience, we’d be very grateful indeed.

A superb (and very sunny!) afternoon at our Open Day on Saturday. Many thanks to all who came but, if you missed it, you can watch the inspiring Celebration here:

Welcome to the Yeldall Manor Open Day on the 11th July 2026.

Coming up on Saturday 11th.

All friends, old and new, are invited to join us for our annual Open Day on Saturday 11th July. Gates open 1pm (free entry and parking) with a hog roast lunch available to purchase (£10) or bring a picnic. (Please be sure to visit the payment desk BEFORE heading to the food tent.)

Also open from 1pm are stalls and games for all the family - bouncy castle, golf, penalties, ice-creams, crafts, cakes.

At 3pm we gather on the main lawn for an open air service of worship, which is always uplifting and inspiring as we hear from current and former residents. Do bring protection from sun or rain if necessary and something to sit on.

We round off the day with the legendary strawberry teas, supported for the very last time by the wonderful Grays Farm in Wokingham.

Do come along and find out more about our work, take time to chat with others and enjoy the beautiful grounds.
