🔎 What are we looking for?

Someone who is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and has the financial expertise to help them succeed. The role will involve:
Providing ongoing guidance and support throughout the business loan application process.
Helping applicants develop their business ideas and articulate them in a robust business plan, supported by financial forecasts.
Using initiative and sound judgement to achieve positive outcomes.
Making funding recommendations in line with Start Up Loans credit policy.
Delivering and supporting business start-up workshops and boot camps as required.

If you have strong financial and business lending experience, enjoy working with people, and want to use your skills to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you!

Last night we joined colleagues from across the sector at the IWFM Impact Awards, where Landmarc was a finalist in two categories:

⭐ Social Value, recognising our work with SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity and X-Forces Enterprise to support the Armed Forces community through transitional mentoring, business and employment opportunities.
⭐ Armed Forces Veteran in FM, recognising our colleague Will Leatherbarrow and the contribution he makes to the Defence Training Estate.

Reaching the final in both categories was a welcome recognition of the commitment behind this work, from colleagues sharing their time and experience as mentors to veterans applying their skills in civilian careers.

Thank you to Will, our colleagues and our partners for everything you do to turn that commitment into practical support for the Armed Forces community.

Congratulations to all this year’s winners and finalists and thank you to the IWFM team for bringing us together to celebrate the achievements of our sector.

National Cadet Week celebrates the skills that stay with young people long after their cadet journey ends.

Leadership. Confidence. Resilience. Teamwork.

These are the same qualities valued across the Armed Forces and the foundations of an enterprise mindset: taking initiative, solving problems, adapting when circumstances change, and turning ideas into action.

Through Cadets in Enterprise, young people explore these skills in a practical, engaging environment and discover how they apply to every career path, not just starting a business.

Because enterprise isn't only about business. It's about being ready for life.

National Cadet Week is celebrating volunteering today, and we couldn't let it pass without recognising these incredible cadets.

From welcoming guests to supporting the smooth running of the Armed Forces Community Awards, they played a huge part in helping bring our community together on one of the biggest nights of the year.

Their commitment, professionalism and willingness to give back embodies what volunteering is all about.

As Mark Bird put it on the night:

"Our cadets are the best thing since sliced bread."

We couldn't agree more.
