We're delighted to support Baby Communication Week 2026. The theme for this year is 'seeing the baby.' 💙

We know there can be many barriers on the neonatal unit to making connection with your baby but it's important to remember that you are your baby's parent and you are vital to their early development. As well as being involved in their care, recognising your baby's communication, empathising with their world and honouring individuality are all ways to be a parent on the neonatal unit.

We're excited to bring you our first webinar as part of the Bliss Wales Programme, funded by the Welsh Government.

The session will explore how important it is to care for every baby and family in order to ensure FICare delivery can be effectively implemented. We plan to share parent experiences, practical examples from across Wales and an opportunity to reflect on current practice and what could be changed to tackle barriers and invite parents to be partners in their baby's care.

This webinar is open to HCPs and AHPs working in Welsh neonatal units only.
