Led by BAOMS President Professor Bhavin Visavadia, the programme is open to BAOMS members who are trainees committed to a career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, from those undertaking their second degree through to ST8.

BAOMS invites applications for 6 GOLD DUST Fellowships:

1. Patient Communication and Experience
2. Leadership, Teams and Culture
3. Education, Teaching and Mentoring
4. Surgical innovation, 3D planning and responsible artificial intelligence
5. Wellbeing and Sustainable careers
6. Digital communication and Public engagement
Each Fellow will identify a real issue, establish a baseline, introduce an improvement, measure its effect and create something that others can use.

BAOMS President, Bhavin Visavadia, is launching his presidential initiative: "Gold Dust Fellowships".

This initiative is open to UK BAOMS members committed to a career in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, from those undertaking their second degree through to ST8.

Selected candidates will receive individual coaching, a named mentor and support from an expert multidisciplinary faculty. They will lead a practical improvement project, measure its impact and create something others can use.

Each Fellow will receive a Professional Development Award and Fellowship Certificate.
