Much to think about in here, about women's mental health. One thing is for sure, "we need more accessible community based services designed with women's lived experience in mind". This is what WISH provided, being a user-led charity and what Harmonia will also provide with low cost counselling, and from a user-led perspective albeit in a slightly different way. www.counsellingatharmonia.co.uk

Harmonia began as a continuation of WISH's work...Some stories don't end - they continue in new ways.

When WISH closed we wanted to ensure the care, compassion and commitment to accessible mental health and wellbeing support that had been built could continue.

We have loved and appreciated the messages people have left on our crowdfunder towards allowing clients to finish their course of counselling at Harmonia. Women’s mental health charity Wish in Bethnal Green is crowdfunding to continue vital therapy for women following the charity's closure.

We are sad to say that WISH has now closed after 40 years of advocating for women in the psychiatric and criminal justice systems. We want to thank everyone who has supported us, staff past and present and most of all the incredible women we have met over the years. You've been amazing.
