All the community, staff and trustees at Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre are deeply saddened by the passing of Vicky Jenkins. Vicky was our Charity’s Honorary Life-time President, but, was much more than this. Over many decades she contributed enormously to the charity’s development through her guidance driven by passion, commitment and determination. Through years of being the Chair of the Board of Trustees she pressed for funds that would see the Centre and its community and young people benefit. Vicky passed away peacefully at home at the age of 94 on Monday 2nd February. All the charity’s staff, trustees, community and young people at Shadwell Basin Outdoor Activity Centre would like to send their condolences to Vicky’s family. We are worse off without her but are very lucky to have known her.
