❌MISSING❌

With the storms over the weekend the barn took a bit of a battering and the door has been playing up. Unfortunately it hadn’t closed right after a volunteer yesterday and Solomon who was on a break from his crate managed to escape. We are hoping he hasn’t gone far and would ask people in the Halftown Road area of Lisburn to please keep an eye out for him. He loves his food but will be wary. Any sightings please contact us as we may set a trap rather than approach him.

💜KITTEN PUDDLE💜

Sadly none of these beauties have had any applications💔

They are timid so will need quieter homes and patience. You can clearly see how bonded they all are so we want them to go in pairs.

Hopefully their turn for adoption will be soon both for them as they deserve homes but also then we get a crate free to help some more.

♥️ADELAIDE♥️

This sweet girl came to us from Ardglass a few weeks ago after straying. Not chipped but too friendly not to have been a pet. We then discovered she is pregnant. Everyone has their own opinion on pregnant spays but we will not carry those out. All could have been avoided if whoever had originally got her spayed. Safe now sweetheart.

🩷REHOMING APPEAL - SHERIDAN🩷

This sweet kitten is another one from Stoneyford that is ready to find a lovely home. She is only about 4 months old. She is friendly but can be little unsure so a bit of time and patience will be needed in her new home while she gains her confidence and settles in. She’ll make a brilliant pet but it would need to be a quieter home rather than with young kids.

Rehoming criteria and info:

🩷Fine with older kids or an adult only home.
🩷Fine with one or two other pets with the usual slow introductions.
🩷Safe outdoor access (not near busy or dangerous roads).
🩷Microchipped, spayed, flea & worm treated.
🩷Vaccines to be done only once completely settled in the new home. These can be done at our vets.
🩷Available to adopt from our rescue in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.

If you are interested in applying then PM the page and an application will be sent over messenger. Rehoming donation and virtual homecheck applies. Please only message if you are serious about adopting and in a position to do so.💕

💖DOOR COLLECTION HELP - EUROSPAR THAXTON💖

The wonderful staff at Eurospar Wallace Village, Lisburn, are kindly making Rescue Cats NI their charity of the month for November. 😻

We’ll have collection boxes in store all month, but we can also hold as many door collections as we like. We’d love to do every weekend, but we need help.

We have Fridays mostly covered, but desperately need people for Saturday and Sunday. Mornings or afternoons.

No experience needed, just a little time and a willingness to chat to people about cats and our rescue. It’s great fun and really rewarding. You can volunteer alone or bring a friend or family member, including the kids.

Every penny helps us rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats in need and we desperately need the funds.

Can you spare a few hours? Comment below or message us with the days and times you can help. Please share. 🩷🐾💙🐾

MISSING CAT!!
He is 16 years old and a popular resident of Joanmount. He is well known in the area. He has feline cancer and is on pain medication. He has been missing now for 3 weeks and my mum and dad are absolutely devastated. We have put posters up, Facebook posts etc. We found out yesterday somebody took him in in the local area (week or so ago) mistaking him as missing due to his weight loss and then a girl claimed he was theres and picked him up and took him to Westland. He wouldn't settle and she let him out down in Westland..this is far away from his home! We have drove round and round the area calling him at all times of the day. Please help us bring this wee pensioner home. He is very recognisable. I just hope someone has taken him in. Please reach out if you have any information.
