This being volunteer week we at Mid Down & Lisburn District Community First Responders are proud to support The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and our community. We would like to thank all our volunteers for giving their continued commitment and thank all our supporters for their donations that keep us equipped and ready to attend alerts when required.

As National Volunteers’ Week comes to a close, we’d like to thank all 458 of our Community First Responders across 25 schemes throughout Northern Ireland. Together, they give thousands of hours each year to support their communities, respond to emergencies, promote lifesaving skills and help us improve outcomes for patients. We are proud to work alongside such a dedicated group of volunteers.

This National Volunteers’ Week, we’re celebrating all local volunteers who answer the call when their community needs them. Our Community First Responders live and work in the communities they serve, often arriving in those vital first moments before an ambulance crew arrives. Their willingness to step forward and help others is truly inspiring. Thank you for making such an impact in communities across Northern Ireland.

You can help by nominating Mid Down & Lisburn District Community First Responders. There is an opportunity for us to receive £5000. We receive no funding from the NHS and every penny we receive goes to ensuring we continue to support our community. Thanks to all who take a couple of minutes to complete this.
