💙 Our Learning Disability Support Manager, Nat, was delighted to attend today’s Healthy Relationships event in Lisburn, delivered in collaboration with the South Eastern Trust, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, and The Executive Office.

The event highlighted the importance of healthy relationships, consent, choice and inclusion in empowering people with learning disabilities to build meaningful relationships and live fulfilling lives. Everyone deserves to feel valued, respected and supported. 💙

It was also lovely to bump into and catch up with Alderman Amanda Grehan Councillor for Lisburn South 😊

Yesterday, our trainee Sarah and our Learning Disability Manager, Natalie Cairns attended a special event at Hillsborough Caste for the launch of the ‘Calm Shower of Spring’ installation by artist in residence Ali Fell.

Sarah attended the event to represent our trainees from Pink Elephant Cards and Picture Framing by Stepping Stones NI who took part in the project creating beautiful and unique leaves for the installation.

This was a great project for our trainees to get involved in with together with 8 other community organisations.

The creation of the installation aimed to bring the outdoor environment indoors and will exhibit for a year for the public to view.

A huge well done to everyone that made this artwork such a joy to appreciate.
