We are absolutely delighted that an outstanding £2,500 was raised for Live Life Well-Being Centre! 💙

We are truly grateful to have been nominated as your chosen charity. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference to the lives of the people we support.

The 'Charity Cup' was established last year by Alderman Amanda Grehan Councillor for Lisburn South, with the aim of bringing the local football community together to support charities across Lisburn.

It is fantastic to see this wonderful initiative continuing to go from strength to strength, making a positive difference in our local community. ⚽🏆

We were delighted to see the work our service does recognised today in the Assembly Chamber at Stormont Parliament Buildings. This was in relation to a joint initative between Sensability and Live Life Well-Being Centre held at the Grove Activity Centre Lisburn.

🪚🔨 A Fantastic Day at Live Life! 🎉

Today marked the official opening of our brand-new Woodwork Room!

We were delighted to welcome our special guest, construction contractor Leo Matheson, who did the honours of cutting the ribbon, expertly guided by professional ribbon cutter, Alderman Amanda Grehan Councillor for Lisburn South ✂️🎀

A massive thank-you to our staff member David, whose hard work, dedication and vision have turned this dream into a reality. 👏

We are also incredibly grateful to Leo Matheson Ltd, who are generously sponsoring tools and materials to help us get off to a fantastic start!

We can't wait to see the creativity, skills and amazing projects that will come to life in this new space.

We were delighted to launch these specialist SEN community facilities today. The Creative Minds Room has been made possible through generous grant funding from the Housing Executive as well as wider funding support from Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, enabling us to create a dedicated inclusive space for creativity, expression, and wellbeing.

Come along and enjoy our Creative Minds Room, UV Dark Room and Sensory Lit Hall — a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where you can play, relax, explore and be creative.

💜 Using Direct Payments?
Stay & Play is a great option for PAs, Carers and families using Direct Payments. This is a great activity option for your carer. There is plenty of time to enjoy the facilities without feeling rushed — and as the colder, darker winter months approach, it provides a warm, comfortable indoor space to get out of the house, socialise and enjoy something different. Barista Coffee Bar and vending machine available for drinks and snacks.

♻️ And will be running Stay & Play sessions on a weekly basis (term time).

🎫 Online Booking is essential, session booking numbers are restricted to 15 spaces, helping us maintain a comfortable and enjoyable environment.

Today participants visited the Logos Hope ship, where the onboard library and café were thoroughly enjoyed. There was a real sense of excitement as everyone stepped onto such a large ship — the scale of it, the bustle of the crew, and the feeling of being out on the water made the whole experience even more memorable.
