👏 Great words and a heartfelt reflection on the work carried out by Resurgam Trust, from our Chair.

As part of our Social Enterprise of the Month series, we’re delighted to share this video highlighting the difference social enterprises make in our communities.

Through community-led initiatives, we can create opportunities, improve lives and build stronger, more connected communities. 💚

👏 And so it continues!

This week, our very own Kim from The Tea Room At Hilden Mill shares how this wonderful social enterprise is firmly rooted in its community, sharing the space with Little Weavers Day Care. ❤️

As Resurgam Trust’s Social Enterprise of the Month for October, it’s fantastic to see the team recognised for the work they do and the difference they make every day.

The Tea Room is about so much more than great food and a warm welcome — it’s about creating a space where people can connect, friendships can grow, and our local community can thrive.

A huge well done to Kim and all the staff whose hard work, passion and commitment make this possible. You are a credit to the team! 👏☕️

🏆 WHAT A FABULOUS WEEKEND FOR RESURGAM TRUST! 🏆

We’ve had an incredible weekend celebrating the achievements of our social enterprises and community partners!

🎉 *Friday Night – Social Enterprise NI Awards*

We were absolutely delighted to win Social Enterprise of the Year at the Social Enterprise NI Awards! 🏆

There was also recognition for our very own Little Weavers Day Care, who received a Highly Commended award in the New Business Start-Up category.

*Saturday Night – IBP Pride of Place Awards, Dublin*

Although we didn’t bring home an award on Saturday night, it was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the achievements of communities from across Ireland, network and catch up with old friends while making plenty of new ones.

A special congratulations to Lisburn 2gether – Special Olympics on winning the Inclusive Communities category 👏

🚀 *AND WE’RE NOT FINISHED YET!*

Our awards journey for 2026 continues! Following our success at the Social Enterprise NI Awards, Resurgam Trust has now been entered into the UK Social Enterprise Awards, taking place in Manchester this November.

Watch this space… Manchester, here we come! 👀🏆

🌟 Passion, purpose and a bright future at Little Weavers Day Care! 🌟

The passion and dedication of our Little Weavers Day Care leader shines through in the magical space she has created for over 50 children, bringing new life to a building steeped in history. ❤️

As one of two social enterprises operating within the former Hilden Primary School, Little Weavers Day Care and The Tea Room At Hilden Mill are demonstrating how community regeneration can preserve our heritage while creating opportunities for the future.

Together, these two social enterprises are providing employment for over 25 people, alongside valuable apprenticeships and trainee placements.

🏫 From a former school to a thriving community asset, this is a wonderful example of social enterprise in action — supporting children and families, creating jobs, developing skills and building a stronger community.

Preserving our past, investing in our people and creating a brighter future for Hilden. 💚
