We had a wonderful day together travelling through to Edinburgh, walking down Princes Street Gardens, exploring the Scots Monument, stopping for tea and coffee at The Scottish Cafe

Mental Health Awareness Month - May 2026

• Ethnic minority groups in Scotland show higher levels of some mental health difficulties, including:

• Suicidal thoughts: 26% vs 9.4% in white groups (Scottish Government)

• Higher rates of anxiety and depression symptoms (Scottish Government)

Today we looked at two parts of Wellbeing. What Helps vs What Drains us and how we cope. This was a group exercise we did together

What a fantastic day out for SATH Community Health Project! 🌟

Our group had an amazing visit to the Riverside Museum in Glasgow 🚍🚢✈️ Many of our service users were seeing the museum for the very first time, and it was wonderful to watch their excitement as they explored the fascinating world of transport through the years.

A special thank you to the lovely tour guide who made the experience even more engaging and memorable 💬✨

Everyone agreed that stepping out of the usual routine and enjoying something new together had a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing 💚
