Really looking forward to our next gig! Lots of lovely music celebrating the rivers, lochs and seas around us, including folk songs from all over, some medieval Portugese cantigas, arrangements by our very own Daisy Abbott and of course Katy Lavinia Cooper, two gorgeous Karine Polwart songs, including The Wellspring, written for the rededication of St Mungo's Well at Glasgow Cathedral last year, and more of Chris Hutchings Riversong (with words by the wonderful Robert MacFarlane). AND as if that wasn't enough, we're joined by very special guests Dolinki, who will be treating us to some amazing Polish folk singing.

Be there or be...well...somewhere much less brilliant 🙂

What a brilliant weekend we had in Moffat!

We loved being back at the Well Road Centre (great place for a group to stay - highly recommended!), really helpful vocal health workshop with Laura McFall, and a lovely welcome from the folk of Upper Annandale Parish Church Moffat for our concert there. Songs were sung, cheese was eaten, good company was enjoyed!!

If you missed the concert, we'll be performing again at the Chapel at University of Glasgow on Saturday 13th June, joined by Dolinki - a wonderful group of women specialising in Polish singing - as part of WestFest. 7.30pm, no need to book - entry by donation!

Can't wait to head to Upper Annandale Parish Church Moffat next weekend! We had such a lovely time when we were last there - wall to wall sunshine and even a visitation from the northern lights. We have high expectations !!

This time we're performing music celebrating the wonderful waterways around us, from fens and marshes to wells, rivers, lochs and seas. The programme features folk songs from around the world, medieval cantigas, Shaker hymns and a couple of arrangements of songs by the amazing Karine Polwart, including The Wellspring, written for the recent rededication of St Mungo's Well at Glasgow Cathedral.

Saturday 9 May, 7.30pm
Upper Annandale Parish Church
Entry by donation
Refreshments available after the concert!

And if you can't make it to Moffat, we'll be performing the same programme again in Glasgow as part of WestFest on Saturday 13 June at 7.30pm in the University of Glasgow Chapel, along with special guests Dolinka, a small female ensemble specialising in Polish folk singing 🙂🎶

What a total joy to be performing with so many outstanding musicians this weekend!

We had a brilliant time at Glasgow Cathedral for Aproxima Arts' Glasgow Requiem - The Well Within, with fantastic performances from Claire M Singer, Harry Gorski Brown and Siobhan Miller (totally spellbinding performance with harpist Rebecca Hill of Karine Polwart's gorgeous new song for the project).
And we loved singing with the Joyous Choir from Maryhill Integration Network - an amazing bunch of people to spend a weekend with!
