What a brilliant way to kick off the new season! On 21st March, we teamed up with CCAA and the Cosmopolis group to bid farewell to winter in true Slavic style – with a proper Glasgow twist, of course.
We celebrated the first day of Spring with a fantastic international crowd, and it was absolute vibes with music and plays!

Drowning the Marzanna – Our straw queen of winter was ceremoniously torched and tossed into the water to make way for the new season.
Lord Spring – We even crowned our very own ‘Pan Wiosna’ to lead us into the green months ahead!
Massive thanks to everyone who joined us for the fun. Here’s hoping for a sunny and lush Spring (even if it is Glasgow and we’re never more than five minutes away from a shower!
Cheers to new beginnings! ☀️🌿

We are delighted to share the wonderful news that CCAA has officially taken patronage and entered into a partnership with the Polish-Scottish Choir PolSco Choir.

PolSco Choir is a newly formed Polish-Scottish chamber a ca****la choir based in Glasgow. The choir rehearses weekly and focuses exclusively on Polish and Scottish repertoire, performing in Polish, Scots, Gaelic and English.

This inspiring initiative brings communities together through music, celebrating cultural heritage while building meaningful connections across Scotland.

As CCAA, we are proud to support PolSco under our patronage and to begin this partnership grounded in shared values: promoting culture, encouraging integration, and nurturing artistic talent within our community.

We look forward to many inspiring events and beautiful musical projects ahead.

Thank you for your trust — we are excited about what the future holds!

Yesterday was full of warmth, creativity, and beautiful connections.

Our Women’s Weaves crochet gathering was a lovely reminder of how powerful it is to come together, share stories, create with our hands, and simply be present with one another. We spent the evening learning and practising the classic granny square, stitch by stitch, laugh by laugh.
Thank you to all the wonderful women who joined us

If you missed it — don’t worry!
We warmly invite you to our next Women’s Weaves meeting on 6th March 6.30 pm. Come crochet, chat, and enjoy a cosy, welcoming atmosphere.

See you soon!

Welcome!

This is our next gathering — this time beautifully woven together with a heart-opening CACAO Ceremony.
The Between Mind and Soul workshop invites you to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with your true essence.

Through the gentle guidance of ceremonial cacao, an immersive sound bath, and a guided breathwork session led by Breathwork facilitator Ania Noakes - Breathing Space Glasgow, you’ll have the space to meet yourself more deeply and authentically.

We warmly invite women — the gathering will be held in Polish.
Suggested donation: £20–£25 to support our community events.

Carols Across Cultures
A festive celebration of Polish, Scottish, and Gaelic traditions
Join us for a magical evening of music that bridges cultures and honours the beauty of shared traditions.
Performing on the night:
-PolSco Choir
PolSco Choir is a newly formed Polish-Scottish chamber a ca****la choir based in Glasgow, specialising in Polish and Scottish music. In this concert, they will present a beautiful selection of Christmas carols sung in Polish, Gaelic, and English, bringing together northern melodies and heartfelt harmonies.

Hey, lovely ladies!
Join us at Women’s Weaves for a joyful day of crafting, sharing stories, and celebrating our love for all things woven and handmade!

During this gathering, we’ll be creating cosy wrist warmers with the excellent guidance of Marzena. Whether you’re an experienced crocheter or picking up a hook for the very first time, this meetup is the perfect space to relax, make something beautiful, and feel inspired by other women.

Please bring your own crochet hook and your favourite yarn (about 100g for two wrist warmers). If you don’t have a hook — no worries, we’ll have a few available.

Let’s create beautiful pieces, enjoy meaningful conversations, build new friendships, and welcome winter with warm hands and warm hearts.

We kindly ask for a small donation (suggested £5–10) to support our organisation and help us continue hosting community events like this one.
