Periods should never be a barrier to education. Yet many girls miss school because they don’t have access to the products they need. That’s something we can change together!

The Give Write team had a fantastic night at the 2026 Waste Sorted Awards, where we were proud to be shortlisted in the Community Events & Engagement category for our Student Engagement Program.

While we didn’t take home the win, we loved celebrating WA’s sustainability champions and reconnecting with so many colleagues in the space — including Bottle Top Hill, Fair Game and Go2Cup.

A huge congratulations to our partners at City of Bunbury and Milligan for their well‑deserved win in the regional category. Such a great night recognising the incredible work happening across our state.

This is your friendly reminder that Give Write collects all stationery through the Officeworks Bring it Back program- working or not!

If you have larger quantities that you already know are no longer fit for purpose, please box them up separately and label "not working". 📦📦📦

This helps us process donations much more efficiently when they arrive, so usable supplies can be sent to students and the rest recycled.

Every year, Bottle Top Hill raises awareness and donations for Give Write and our circular economy of school supplies.

This year, the local community contributed 78.5kgs of stationery - which was tested and sorted on the day by incredible student volunteers from Murdoch University.

Keep your eye out for next month's Bottle Top Hill event for those hard-to-recycle items.

Don’t forget - you can drop your unwanted stationery* at Officeworks through the Bring it Back program.

Working supplies are passed on to students who need them, and anything that can’t be reused is recycled through ReSmart. ♻️

New, used or a little scruffy - we’ll take it!

Got stationery you no longer need? Don't bin it- Bring it Back! 💙

Give Write is a part of the Officeworks Bring it Back program, helping give unwanted school supplies a second life. 👏👏👏

We accept all stationery* - working or not. Simply pop it into the chute at all WA Officeworks stores, or hand it to a staff member for the Bring it Back Stationery program.

Our lovely volunteers will test and sort all donations. Working supplies are passed onto students in need while anything no longer fit for purpose will be recycled through ReSmart. ♻

So before you throw out those old pens, pencils, textas, rulers, erasers, pencil cases and other school supplies, bring them in instead. Every item has the chance to be reused or recycled. 💚
