Last week, WACCC brought together around 80 property developers, investors and business leaders for the inaugural event of our Property Series – Navigating Costs and Global Disruption.

The conversation was candid, timely, and at times, sobering.

Perth's property market is in a compelling but challenging position. Demand for quality apartments is strong – and domestic buyers are willing to pay for it. But supply isn't keeping pace. Labour shortages, rising material costs and tighter feasibility margins are making delivery harder than ever.

So how are leading developers responding? By leveraging their international networks. Sourcing directly from overseas suppliers is fast becoming a competitive differentiator – not just a cost-saving measure, but a strategic capability that separates those who can deliver from those who can't.
